It is evident that Scottish football is facing some big financial challenges?   But what is the way forward?  It seems likely that the structure of the leagues will change.

The Scottish Premier League would be expanded to 14 teams.   Below this would be a division which would include reserve or colt teams from the top clubs which is at least an innovative idea.   Below that divisions would be regionalised, but some clubs at that level still want to play in a national competition despite the travel times and costs involved.
