The 160th District Court in Dallas, Texas will re-convene at 1 p.m. UK time today to consider the temporary restraing injunction issued to prevent the sale of Liverpool.   Texas courts do not usually convene so early local time, but the matter needs to be resolved by 4 p.m. UK time.

Even a court in Dallas will pay some regard to the decision of the High Court yesterday. In the unlikely event of the court upholding the injunction, it will be possible to secure an appeal hearing very quickly.


We are now well into time added on and it looks as if John W Henry will attend the Merseyside derby on Sunday as the new owner.
