The worst club owner in England

Charlton Athletic’s owner Roland Duchatelet has been voted the worst club owner in England in a poll of football fans.   However, he is only just ahead of the owners of Coventry City, Blackburn Rovers and Blackpool.

Huddersfield’s Dean Hoyle is voted the best club owner in England, followed by the owners of Burton Albion, Leicester City and Middlesbrough. Hoyle made his fortune in the greetings card industry as the former owner of The Card Factory and is a lifelong Huddersfield Town supporter.
