The £400m project also includes a hotel, supermarket and flats.   Spurs have said in the past that it was not affordable and they will start talks with central and local government about contrbutions to the infrastructure.

Spurs have not abandoned their bid to be long-term tenants of the Olympic Stadium, but this may be a less likely outcome now.
