Lorimer gives Cellino vote of confidence

First, I am not sure that Leeds have that much time.   Second, the club has suffered from a succession of, to put it mildly, unusual owners.   Third, Cellino seems particularly prone to mercurial and quixotic decision-making, as shown by the apparent collapse of the supporters’ buy out.

It is understandable if Leeds fans get angry and frustrated.   It is a great club that has been prevented from realising its potential.

Football in general is suffering from individuals with big egos who think they can transfer their success in other walks of life to football.  Don’t expect to be popular if you buy a football club, particulafrly if our actions appear to undermine it rather than take it forward.    As former US president Harry Truman said, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

As argued here, what Cellino now owes Leeds is a smooth, clean exit.
