Efforts to save Kiddy draw strong response

Football fans have rallied round Kidderminster Harriers in their hour of need.   Nearly 3,000 fans responded to an appeal by turning up to Saturday’s match against Altrincham and an appeal on Facebook and Twitter has raised £16,844.

However, the club needs to raise £156,000 to keep going.  A winding up-petition over a £16,000 debt to Revenue and Customs will be heard on February 23rd.   Former chairman Barry Norgrove and his vice-chairman Neil Savery helped pay January’s wages.
