South-East property developer Paul Buttivant has also been in talks about buying the club.   To the annoyance of fans a third bid has come from former directors Keith Todd and Roy Gardner whose time in charge coincided with the club’s spiral into debt.   However, their one time ally Yasuaki Kagami is not involved.   Funding is believed to come from an unknown UK investor who is now based abroad.  The identity of the fourth bidder is unknown.
