West Bromwich Albion has topped The Times Financial Fair Play (FFP) league again. The FFP league seeks to identify those clubs that are obtaining the best results per pound spent. It’s based on a formula devised by Sue Bridgewater of Warwick Business School.
Arsenal take second place, followed by Bolton and Blackpool. If the FFP league had been in operation last season, the winners would have been Everton and they moved up from seventeenth to fifth in October. West Ham occupy bottom place.
