It’s the first time I have seen this topic raised and it is interesting to reflect on it. However, my short answer would be ‘probaby not’. The amounts pumped into such clubs are considerable, but are dwarfed by the fortunes of those involved. They have substantial reserves and hold other assets to balance their portfolios.
