West Ham have launched a joint bid with Newham Council to leave Upton Park and move to the Olympics Stadium in Stratford after the 2012 games. West Ham are also unlikely to be unopposed as nearby Leyton Orient have expressed an interest in moving to the stadium, although they would have greater difficulty in generating a large enough crowd.
