On the back of their recent success, Swansea City are seeking to upgrade their shirt sponsors.   Their contract with online betting company 32Red has been terminated after four years with one year to run. The parting of the ways has been amicable with 32Red receiving a £950,000 windfall.

The deal with 32Red was signed when they were still a Championship club and the Swans are looking for a sponsor with deeper pockets to finance development at the club.   In a statement the club explained that the decision had been taken in order to ‘engage with third parties who may be able to assist in the physical development of the stadium and support the club in its next phase of growth’.
