A statement and press conference about the future of Coventry City will be held on Wednesday.   However, local director John Clarke has admitted that communication with Sky Blues fans has not been handled well following the resignation of chairman Ray Ranson, but says that the club was constrained by legal considerations.

Secretive owners SISU have stated that they will add to their existing £30m investment in the club.  However, former chairman Geoffrey Robinson MP, who wrote off £20m of personal debts to allow the takeover to go ahead, has complained that the club is in a worse state than it was when the new owners took charge.
