Situation worse than feared at Kiddy

The new short-term chairman of Kidderminster Harriers, Dave Reynolds, has revealed that the financial situation at the Conference club is worse than was feared.   Debts total £250,000, many of which need to be paid quickly.   In a not unfamiliar situation at many clubs, £90,000 is owed to Revenue and Customs.   The year’s trading loss is forecast at £350k-£400k which is clearly not sustainable.

Reynolds has squashed press rumours of a mystery bidder wanting to step in to take over the club.  There are better prospects available and anyone who gets involved is likely to have some personal connection with the club or the former carpet manufacturing town.
