Apparently the bid was substantially more than the three other ones received. The administrator has a legal obligation to obtain the best return for the creditors, but one hopes that the bid has a solid basis.
The Football League will want assurances that the company has the necessary funding available. Presumably they will. proceed with the plan to ground share with another Football League club while a new stadium is built in the city.
