Rangers boss has ‘nothing to hide’

The majority shareholder at Rangers, Craig Whyte, has insisted that he has ‘nothing to hide’ following the screening of a controversial BBC documentary against the background of continuing financial concerns surrounding the club.   The documentary was dismissed by Rangers as a ‘prejudiced muckracking exercise’ and Whyte has instructed his lawyers to begin proceedings against the BBC.

One of the claims made in the broadcast was that Lloyds Bank had forced through the Craig Whyte takeover after they had threatened to withdraw credit lines if it did not go ahead.
