The precedent for Indian ownership at Blackburn Rovers was not initially a happy one and Cobblers fans have been expressing concerns on Twitter that the potential new owners seem more interested in the land than the football and securing promotion.   As well as the club, the new owners would take charge of the company that has the lease on the land scheduled for redevelopment around Sixfields.

Current chairman David Cardoza has been in charge for 12 years.
