The Football League has signed a new three seasons deal for its highlights programme with Channel 5. The 90-minute programme, showing every single goal, will go out at 9 p.m. before the BBC’s Match of the Day covering the Premier League.
The Football League has signed a new three seasons deal for its highlights programme with Channel 5. The 90-minute programme, showing every single goal, will go out at 9 p.m. before the BBC’s Match of the Day covering the Premier League.
Under the present deal with the BBC, the Football League Show occupies a graveyard slot after Match of the Day. Whilst there is a repeat early on Sunday morning, times for this vary depending on other programmes and can be as early as 6.10 a.m.
ITN productions will film the games and Channel 5 is looking for a production partner.
