Liverpool made a profit of £60m in 2014/15, up from £1m the previous year and following a number of years of losses.   The wage bill was up 16 per cent  to £166m, but that represented a comfortable 59 per cent of turnover.

Revenue has been up every year under FSG and the debt pile accumulated by the previous owners has largely been eliminated.   Commercial income was up by 22 per cent, but it still represents an area of relative weakness compared to other top clubs.
