The club’s bank account has been frozen. The players have not received their wages for January.

Would-be saviour Chris Swan pulled out of acquiring the club after concerns raised by the due diligence process. He found £52,000 of trade debts on top of the £150,000 it was estimated would be needed to run the club for the rest of the season. The final straw was when his accountants told him there could be another hole of around £167,000 to fill.
