Erewash Borough Council have confirmed that the New Manor Ground will be available to a successor club which is likely to start at Step 5 at the highest of the non-league system next season.

The majority of supporters favour a fan-run phoenix club, but a number of investors are also interested. Among them is a consortium including former director Andrew Raisin, a local communications company called 21C and a company that helps sports groups access grants and community projects called Fundsport UK. Nottingham charity worker Tony Griffith, who launched the Nottingham Knights basketball team, has also expressed interest.
