Presumably, however, their performance would improve over time as they would be in a more competitive league playing better teams which would help them to raise their own standards. They would also have more money available to strengthen the squad.

In the worst case scenario with only two televised games they would make £72m in Premier League prize money and perhaps as much as £82m. They would also be likely to increase their sponsorship income. Hence, they would be vastly richer in the Premier League.
