Hard times at Liverpool

It’s a fast-moving situation and any predictions could be rapidly disproved by events.  However, here is one scenario that is circulating.   RBS do not really want to take charge of Liverpool because of all the aggravation it would bring them.   Hence, they may give a short extension to the loans to prevent them to have to take responsibility and to allow a deal to be concluded.


Club sources are insisting that there are credible buyers in the offing.  We have heard this so many times before, of course, and it is possible that no deal will be reached by Christmas.   In that case, RBS may well end up in charge.
