It has been one of the longest drawn out takeover sagas in recent football history.  The mystery ‘Indian consortium’ that wants to take over Northampton Town is yet to be identified.   Now fans are launching a social media campaign to try and find out what is happening.

It was revealed last month that the consortium is based in London rather than overseas.  Current Cobblers chairman David Cardoza is confident that once the redevelopment of the ground is sorted out, the club will go up a league or two, attendances will rise to the 15,000 – 20,000 mark and the club’s potential will be realised.

Northampton does have potential, but realising it requires investment and good decision-making by the owners.
