However, the club claims that if they fly over on easyJet, the cost of the flight and the ticket is less than that of going to some clubs in London. The cheapest ticket at the Emirates on Sunday to watch Arsenal play Liverpool was £62. Dortmund sell adult tickets for Bundesliga matches for £9.
Dortmund claim that they offer a mix of top-class tickets, affordable football and a vibrant atmosphere. They also argue that the warmer relationship between club and supporters is something people are looking for. Their average attendance of 80,250 was the highest in Europe last season.
