Bulls get another reprieve

The long drawn out saga of Hereford United continues with the hearing of the winding up petition against the club in the High Court deferred again until December 15th.   The petition was originally brought in June by the Inland Revenue in relation to a debt of £116,000.   The legal bills for all these hearings must be mounting.

Chairman Andrew Lonsdale has now offered to invest £1m in the club.   This was after Doug Carroll of Newell Property Developments withdrew a £750,000 offer, apparently having been scared off by comments in social media.

The Football Association have also found the club to be in breach of the Owners’ and Directors’ Test Regulations.   The club have to pay a fine of £500 by Thursday afternoon or they will be suspended from all football.
