Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside thinks that the Football League’s new financial fair play rules hit them particularly hard in spite of the fact that they will receive an enhanced parachute payment this year.

Wanderers saw a £30m drop in income last year following relegation and think that the new rules will affect their ability to invest.
