JSB A new company called Sillsport Sports Development is hoping to use private investors cash to
invest in professional footballers at the beginning of their careers. The company plans to generate profits to investors by gaining contractual rights to individual young footballers and then make gains from the transfer fee when a player moves from club to club.

The EDP has reported on the delayed AGM at Norwich City Football Club. In what appeared to be very frank and open meeting with the club’s shareholders, the NCFC hierarchy outlined “the financial fall from grace which has run parallel with the rise and fall of the club’s fortunes on the football field.”
