Argyle players threaten to strike

Plymouth Argyle players are threatening to strike this weekend as they still have not been paid.  Their personal financial situations are becoming very difficult.   The club may be able to raise a team against Burton Albion but several senior players may be missing.

Plymouth Argyle players are threatening to strike this weekend as they still have not been paid.  Their personal financial situations are becoming very difficult.   The club may be able to raise a team against Burton Albion but several senior players may be missing.


At the end of last week it was announced that the funding was in place for the acquisition of the club by Gibraltar-based consortium Bishop International Limited.   However, the club remains in administration and fans are calling for contingency plans in case the Bishop deal does not go ahead.
