In June 2009, a consortium of businessmen  took over AFC Bournemouth. The consortium included Adam Murry, Jeff Mostyn, former Vice Chairman Steve Sly, Neill Blake and former Dorchester Town Chairman Eddie Mitchell. In 2011, Russian businessman Maxim Demin became co-owner of Bournemouth by buying Steve Sly’s and Jeff Mostyn’s 50 per cent share of the club. This made Chairman Eddie Mitchell and Demin equal partners. In 2015, Demin sold a 25 per cent share in the club to Peak 6 Investments, although he remained a majority shareholder.
