Kidderminster Harriers have defended their £4 pies against criticism that they are the most expensive football grub in the country. However, the club argues that the ‘home baked’ cottage pies are a meal in themselves.
The serious point here is that surveys of the kind conducted by the BBC last week do not necessarily compare like with like. For example, when one is looking at season tickets, one has to consider what the view is like (although fans differ in terms of their preferences when it comes to being close to the pitch).
As for the pies, they do look good and I might go over to Aggborough and try one when I have a free Saturday.
