Bournemouth’s potential

Historically, Bournemouth has been seen as a retirement area with elderly residents either not interested in football or with allegiances to clubs elsewhere.   However, the town has been changing with two universities and considerable activity by financial services and hi tech firms.

In any case the club’s financial prospects do not depend on gate money, just as well given the ground’s capacity.   They will benefit from the Premier League’s broadcasting riches and the incentive to stay up is an even more lucrative deal in the future.
