At the end of 2009 we were delighted to receive a ‘Worthy Websites: Silver Award‘ from When Saturday Comes magazine. It’s always nice to be recognised, and to be so by the ‘doyen’ of football fanzines is especially welcome. WSC wrote:

Wyn Grant’s sobering site is the only useful guide to the messed up financial state of the British game. It now includes yearly profit and loss figures for most teams going back to the mid-1990s and an easily accessible archive of stories, club by club. Newcastle’s articles alone could justify an extra site.
We were in good company. Gold award winners were: Pitch Invasion, Two Hundred Per Cent, Play The Game and Transparency In Sport. Our fellow Silver award winners were: Football Filter, Football And Music and Run Of Play. Bronze award winners were: The 100 Football Grounds Club, European Football Weekends, The Global Game, Viva Rovers, Cod Almighty and Hans van der Meer (a football photography site).
