Evo-Stik Northern Premier League side Northwich Victoria hope to stay at the Victoria Ground until the end of the season.   Last week they were served with an eviction notice by receivers Deloitte Touche from the ground which was only built in 2005 and has a 5,000 capacity.   Witton Albion’s ground is 500 yards away.

The ground fell into the hands of Deloitte in 2008 after former chairman Mike Connett’s company Beaconet Ltd. went into receivership.   It was announced that the stadium had been sold to chemicals manufacturers Thor Specialities UK, based next door, who are looking to expand.
