United top new league

These are two very well regarded supporters’ organisations, but it’s an unusual coalition.   One wouldn’t normally expect Christian Aid to take an interest in football, as they themeselves admit.   It could be dismissed as a publicity stunt, but once again it demonstrates the power of football.  It also a new source of reputational damage for the Glazers, although my impression all along has been that they are not too bothered by that.
