Chairman Peter Coates has put in £100m to help the club’s revival, but turnover was just short of £100m in 2014-15 with profits up at £5.7m.  Net debt was reduced.   Commercial income is dwarfed by that of the top clubs, but in line or better than comparable clubs.   However, this is clearly an area in which there is scope to do more.

The Potteries have faced many economic challenges and wage levels are not high.  The club has responded by keeping ticket prices at affordable levels.
