No quick fix for Rangers

Restructuring Scottish football is under discussion and one of the options on the table is to have three larger leagues rather than the current four.  However, the problems of Scottish football are more fundamental than tinkering with league structure can resolve.

Administrators Duff and Phelps are to receive £2.7m for their work at Rangers.   The decision in the ‘big’ tax case relating to offshore payments by the club is expected next month.
