A court hearing has rejected an attempt to quash the planning permision for FC United’s new stadium. The club currently plays at Bury’s ground at Giggs Lane.

After receiving planning permission for the development of a community stadium and sports facilities at the Ronald Johnson Playing Fields, a legal challenge was made by some local residengts, leading to a judicial review.   Manchester City Council was the defendant in the case and FC United also engaged its own legal team as an ‘interested party’.
