Gate receipts were £7.2m, broadcasts brought in £5m and sponsorship and commercial income amounted to £4.9m. The broadcast income will, of course, be far higher this season when the club has been in the Premier League.
Should the club be relegated, parachute payments will be crucial to financial stability, but, as an adjoing story shows, these are now under threat.
