Adjournment of Pompey court case sought

In another development P & A’s Brendan Guilfoyle, a well-known football administrator, said that Balram Chainrai’s Portpin had been unhappy with some aspects of how PKF were dealing with things.  Portpin might be forced to close the club if they did not secure a change of administrator.  However, they were happy to fund the club through to the end of the season provided that he was allowed to run their day-to-day affairs.

Guilfoyle stated, ‘Portpin don’t feel the club has been fully marketed and they don’t want it liquidated if it can’t be sold to PST.   Considerable progress had been made in such areas as reducing wages and other buyers might now be interested in coming forward.
