Notes:

Blackburn Rovers Football Club was formed in 1875 and in 1888 was a founding member of The Football League. In 1890 Rovers moved to its permanent home at Ewood Park. In 1991 Blackburn were taken over by locally-born steel baron Jack Walker, a millionaire who lavished considerable sums of money on re-establishing the club that had fallen behind since being one of the dominant forces in English League football pre-WWI (FA Cup winners 1884, 1885, 1886, 1890, 1891, 1928 and League Champions in seasons 1911/12 and 1913/14 )and they won the Premier League in season 1994/95 and the League Cup in 2002.

Turnover and pre-tax profit figures are in millions.
