The club’s administrator remains hopeful that a buyer wlill step forward to save the club.   However, it has to be asked how attractive a prospect they are to an investor.

On the face of it, it should be possible for a county the size of Cornwall to support a Conference side. However, many of the retired population in the county have allegiances elsewhere.   Among the native population, there is a strong rugby tradition.

Travelling costs are also a problem.   Falmouth Town were once a strong force in the Western League, but had to revert to the South-Western League because of the costs involved.  An away trip for Truro can cost £800 or more in expenses.
