Smell the coffee time at Hull

This article contains the nearest thing we have had to an admission from Hull City that their financial plight is very serious should they be relegated.   Of course, one can understand they want to focus their energies on avoiding the drop, although I wouldn't have brought in Iain Dowie to achieve that objective.

It's quite difficult for fans to face up to the fact that their club is in serious financial problems.  Understandably, their focus is on the pitch.  Unfortunately it's no longer the case that another mug (sorry, investor) will be along in a minute to sort out a club's finances.
