Rovers fans complain to owners

Blackburn Rovers fans are the latest group of supporters in the north-west to express their dissatisfaction about the way in which their football club is being run, following the protests planned for today at Everton.   Rovers fans are thinking of organising their own protest for the home game against Arsenal on September 17th.

An open letter has been sent to Venky's, the owners, by a group of season ticket holders claiming to represent 4,000 fans, although these claims are always difficult to verify.   They point out that season ticket sales are down by a thousand on last year, although economic factors could play a part there.

They want more communication from and dialogue with the owners and Venky's have sent family representatives from India to Lancashire to try and improve matters.   They also want the owners to consider replacing manager Steve Kean and in a discussion on Radio 5 this morning the question was raised about whether this was something fans should be calling for.    Certainly there is a risk that the call for better communication could be overshadowed by what could be interpreted as an attack on the manager.

When Venky's bought Blackburn for £46 Million (approx), what were their motives?


1. To own a Premier league club and build on the clubs brand and success?

2. A vehicle to advertise their poultry business?

Sadly as my parents were both born in India what I see as an Ewood park season ticket holder is our club being run to the ground by a man who has never managed any football team before jumping in to manage one of the biggest clubs in Englad and in one of the worlds hardest leagues..He has excuses ready before he has even lost and says things that make most of the English fans angry...

There is also a huge culture clash where here in Europe billions of Euros and millions of pounds are spent on advertizing to stop  Drink Driving.. He beame a criminal when the court found him guilty of having drunk nearly twice the limit a legal driver is allowed..He was stopped on his was to London speeding and the breath test proved this. The culture part here is that thousands of people accross Europe and England have been killed, and here the Venky's make him manager of a club whose fanbase includes thousands of children.. This is awful on the Venky's part they would not even have to compensate to loose him,but fans frustation is showing as results either have not been going his teams way..

Tactcally totally inept of ideas of changing a game and not winning any of the relegated teams mean we the Rovers fan have to suffer.. Loosing all three games and it looks like MRS.DESAI is in LOVE with the man who will cost her millions..Not understanding the implications of their actions it is time the RAO family decide to act. Even today the BBC will laugh at Steve Kean a man out of his depth which was given to him by Jerome ANDERSON his agent after they took oevr at Blackburn..
