Owls get more time

Sheffield Wednesday has been granted a 28-day adjournment on the winding up order brought against them by Revenue and Customs in the High Court today. The court heard from a lawyer representing the club that it was on the 'verge' of a takeover deal with a consortium of local businessmen.
Hopes have been raised before, but let's hope this deal comes to fruition.
