For the second month in succession Oldham Athletic have failed to pay their players and staff wages on time.   However, chairman Simon Corney insists that all is well with the club’s finances.  He said, ‘We will get the wages paid by the end of the month and it really isn’t a problem.’  Whether the recipients of the pay packets see it the same way is another question.
