"If you want some accessible but informative insight into football then I suggest you couldn't do better than the Political Economy of Football website, which is not only intelligible but comes with the added bonus of being written by Addicks fan Wyn Grant."

Leicester City Football Club Ltd.

Traditional Leicester City football shirt

The club was founded in 1884 and play at the Walkers Stadium (Filbert Way) which has a capacity of 32,500 spectators. In October 2002, the club (then structured as a plc) went into administration with debts of £30 million and was later rescued through takeover by a consortium led by Gary Lineker. It was in reaction to Leicester's restructuring of their debts during this time that the Football League changed their rules to now penalise teams going into administration with a ten point penalty.
