Investor Walks Out On Linnets | King's Lynn FC

Conference North outfit King's Lynn FC have suffered a major blow with the sudden departure of major investor Michael Chinn who has resigned from the club's board for 'personal reasons'. The former Boston United director had pumped in an estimated five figure sum since he joined the Linnets in 2006. Lynn chairman Ken Bobbins revealed that the club have 'had a couple of big blows recently. Including a substantial sponsorship cheque that rebounded leaving quite a hole in the finances.' Bobbins refused to rule out cutting the club's four figure weekly wage bill which could see the club forced to offload former Premiership big earners Julian Joachim and Andy Johnson. 'The credit crunch is biting - no question at all of that,' he said.
