"If you want some accessible but informative insight into football then I suggest you couldn't do better than the Political Economy of Football website, which is not only intelligible but comes with the added bonus of being written by Addicks fan Wyn Grant."

Good news for Nuneaton fans

In 2008 Nuneaton Borough folded.   The replacement club, Nuneaton Town, still referred as to 'Boro' by fans, was demoted two divisions.   They have fought their way back to the Conference and have had some good news for the start of the season.

Businessman Lee Evans, who was formerly a Kettering Town director, has taken a 50 per cent stake in the company that controls the North Warwickshire club.   He has also bought the Liberty Way stadium which will be leased back to the club on a ten year rolling lease.
