Everton plan Goodison development
Everton are planning a £9m office and retail development at Goodison Park. The scheme will be self-funding as the costs will be met by partners. The new complex will include a shop, museum and corporate hospitality facilities which have not been up to the standard of other clubs.
Everton had their proposed £400m stadium development at Kirby refused planning permission last year. The club insist that they are still looking for a site for a new stadium, but this move suggests that nothing is in the offing and the focus has switched to sprucing up Goodison Park.
Standard.
This is a wrong statement. Not only have Sodexo won awards for hospitality at Goodison twice in three years...
But the use of the world "standard" is completely wrong.
Its not the standard which I can vouch is excellent. Its the quantity they can provide which is the issue at Goodison.
