The depth of Hull's problems

It's a bit like one of those model villages which has a model of the model village, linking to a story in which one of us is quoted.   However, this report gives a good overview of Hull City's problems as relegation becomes a greater risk.  One of the problems is that appear to be no relegation clauses in players' contracts.   Jimmy Bullard cost £18m in total and £11m of that still has to be paid off.  Reportedly, he is on £45,000 a week.  If the club doesn't stay up, the immediate outlook is bleak.
